She studied at two of California’s finest oriental medicine colleges, Santa Barbara College of Traditional Oriental Medicine, as well as Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine from which she earned her Master’s Degree (2010) and is currently finishing up her Doctoral Degree (2018). Additionally, she studied in Kunming, China under a Chinese Doctor at Sheng Ai Hospital of TCM. Shortly after getting licensed to practice in the state of California in 2010, she joined the medical staff at The Biggest Loser Resort in Malibu, CA. She worked there for over two and a half years, all the while maintaining a successful private practice, Taylored Acupuncture, in Santa Barbara, CA. In addition to her general health practice, Taylor’s work at The Biggest Loser Resort enabled her to further develop her specialization in pain and injury, weight loss management and emotional disorders. She went on to open up a second practice in sunny North Florida, Taylored Acupuncture & Wellness, where she then became a certified Birth Doula and natural birth advocate. In 2017 she became a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and teaches prenatal yoga workshops and private yoga classes. Taylor has had many years of experience in the wellness world and is passionate about helping others on their path to longevity, vitality and wellness. In her free time she enjoys traveling, learning about various cultures, practicing yoga and spending time with loved ones.

ABOUT CHANDLER

I’m a DONA trained birth Doula based in Atlantic Beach, Florida. Over the years many women in my life have influenced and led me to where I am now as a mother and advocate for motherhood and birth. After becoming pregnant with my first child, I immediately felt a passion and a craving to learn as much as I could about pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I knew during that pregnancy, that down the line I wanted to work in birth somehow. After my second child turned two, I completed the birth doula training. I am CPR certified, completed waterbirth int waterbirth certification course, NRP online training, and mentored with Explore TC Doula Services. I’m excited to continue learning, gain experience, and to serve families with Taylored Acupuncture + Wellness.

As an Eastern Medicine practitioner I have had the opportunity to fulfill what I believe is my life’s purpose-simply helping others and to be of service. Our bodies have an amazing, innate ability to heal and to thrive, sometimes it just needs some guidance and support. I can help with that. I hope to one day combine my love for natural medicine and wellness with my love for travel and ultimately help people all over the world.
